Biography
Will completed his Masters degree in chemistry at the University of Nottingham in 2019. Following this, he undertook a PhD in chemistry, also at the University of Nottingham, under the supervision of Prof. Andrei Khlobystov (chemistry), Prof. Amalia Patanè (physics) and Prof. Michael George (chemistry). His PhD research involved the use of carbon and boron nitride nanotubes as molecular containers for inorganic species. This involved the synthesis and analysis of novel nanocomposite materials with applications in nanoelectronic devices and quantum technologies.
In 2023 Will began working as a research associate in electron microscopy of nanomaterials, conducting research into the preparation and analysis of radicals confined to the nanoscale.
