Sober Sip and Paint

Drug and Alcohol Awareness Week is here February 12-16. The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness about drug and alcohol use so you can feel informed and supported. At UoNSU we have a harm reduction policy, which means we’re committed to sharing information that limits the harmful effects of drug and alcohol misuse and creating a culture around drugs and alcohol that is healthy and safe. This week will be centred around safety, support and information which means you can find out specific harm reduction information, how drugs and alcohol may affect your mental health and support for drug and alcohol misuse and addiction. We know that at university, there can be a lot of peer pressure to drink and so we will also be hosting a sober ‘Sip and Paint’ and encouraging Student Groups to run their own sober events.

1. Follow us on Instagram (@uonwellbeingteam)

2. Send us your photo and/or description in Instagram Direct Messenger

Every student who takes part will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 Blackwells voucher.
