Juan Ignacio (Nacho) Vizcaino holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. He joined the School of Economics in 2020 as an Assistant Professor, after completing his graduate studies in the United States.
He is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Finance, Credit and Macroeconomics (CFCM) and the Leverhulme Centre for Research on Globalization and Economic Policy (GEP).
Nacho's main research interest is in Macroeconomics, with a focus on topics related to Growth, Development, and Structural Change.
