Biography
Teaching Summary
I am currently Director of Design Teaching, leading on development and delivery of design education across our programmes.
Currently, I lead a team of 16 academics, industrial tutors and team mentors, to develop and deliver authentic team-based educational experiences in engineering design. Current priorities are:
- Developing authentic, inspirational sustainability-focused team projects for process design education
- Embedding the development and assessment of EDI competencies into process design education
- Using learning technologies to transform the assessment and feedback process
Research Summary
I am engaged in educational action research on digitalisation, future engineering education, and EDI in education.
