Dr. Buddhi Hewakandamby's current research interests are in the area fluid dynamics including multiphase flows, microfluidics and heat and mass transfer in multiphase flows. Current research investigates spatio-temporal evolution of two phase flows and interfacial interactions including droplet entrainment and deposition, structure propagation in vertical and horizontal pipes, microfluidic droplet generation and encapsulation using experiments as well as numerical simulations. He is also interested in thin film dynamics. For more information about research interests, visit www.nottingham.ac.uk/~enzbnh/
I welcome enquiries from potential PhD candidates from Home, EU and international countries who are interested in the following research areas: Multiphase flow, Film flows, Bubble dynamics, Experimental Fluid Dynamics, Flow Modelling, Heat Transfer, Phase change, Two-phase flows
