Thomas holds an LLB and an LLM from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, a Masters Degree in Corporate Law (MCL) from the University of Cambridge, and has pursued his PhD at University College London (UCL). He was admitted to the Greek bar in 2019. He joined the School of Law in August 2023, having previously held teaching positions at UCL and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Prior to becoming an academic, Thomas worked as a lawyer in Greece.
Thomas currently teaches Contract Law, Issues in Company Law, and Principles of Corporate Insolvency Law.
Thomas' specialises in financial law and financial regulation, particularly debt financing, and the ways in which regulation and policy interact with, and shape, the debt market in the UK and Europe.… read more
Thomas' specialises in financial law and financial regulation, particularly debt financing, and the ways in which regulation and policy interact with, and shape, the debt market in the UK and Europe. Other research interests include corporate finance, company law, and corporate governance.
