Biography
I've been a technician manager in the Pharmacy School for the last 26 years and as been within the Division of Biomolecular Science and Medicinal Chemistry for the last 15 years.
Expertise Summary
Responsible for the management of the NMR suite, MS suite and the daily running of 10 research labs with in the Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Structural Biology.
Duties: Responsible for the day to day running of the Med-Chem Group, making sure all staff, students and visiting personnel are working safely and correctly. Responsible for the maintenance, calibration and upkeep for the following systems Bruker NMR400, Mass Specs, HPLCs, Freeze driers, Flash chromatography, UV spectrometer, high vacuum, centrifugal evaporators, CEM microwaves, FTIR, high pressure hydrogenation, rotorvaps, chillers and general lab equipment.
