Biography
I am a PhD candidate in Translation Studies at the University of Nottingham. My doctoral project delves deeper into the translation and media communication about the COVID-19 pandemic in China. My research interests include news translation, international communications, and critical discourse analysis.
Prior to this, I worked as a full-time Deputy Editor-in-Chief of English News in the Office of Global Communications at Peking University in China, after obtaining my Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Nottingham, UK. I am also a CATTI certified interpreter and translator between Chinese and English, with work experiences in projects assigned by the United Nations, China Central Television, and China Daily, among others.
