Your Residential Experience Team (ResX) is available 7 days a week, from the day you arrive, until the day you leave, to support you to settle and thrive in your new home, and the fantastic community that you will belong to as a student at the University of Nottingham.

Helping you make the most of your time in halls we host a range of events from big to small to help you connect with others and enjoy your time in halls. Our events are aimed to help you thrive in halls and develop as a person, learn a new skill or just have some fun.

Important information

Contract details

To finalise your offer, you will be required to read and accept a licence/tenancy agreement and terms and conditions from your accommodation provider Acis Students.

We highly recommend that you read this along with a parent, guardian, carer, or school representative, as this is a legally binding document.

You will be accepting liability for the full tenancy length of 44 weeks a year for undergraduates, or 51 weeks for postgraduates, including vacation periods.  Once you have moved in you are liable to pay for the duration of your licence period.

Payment information

The deadline for term one payment and damage deposits will be detailed in your accommodation offer and is due before your contract starts. If you will require a payment plan, are dependant upon Student Loan Funding, or have not secured your visa, you will be able to discuss arrangements direct with your accommodation provider.

Student route visa applications

Students who are reliant upon securing a Student route visa should not make any payment for their accommodation until the visa has been granted. If a visa has not been secured by the first payment date, please contact your provider to request a deferred payment date. Damage deposits required to secure your accommodation will still need to be paid.

Is bedding provided in the self-catered sites?

You will need to bring your own bedding and covers or pre order a bedding pack with your provider.

What security is provided on the self-catered sites?

With 24-hour security and secure sites we make sure your environment is safe and secure.

What is the parking charge at Raleigh Park?

You can apply for a monthly, termly or annual parking permit which provides fob access to the barriers, charged at the following rates:

  • Monthly - £48 per month
  • Termly - £120 per term
  • Annual - £295 for the year
