Webinar: How to land your next job – staying ahead of the recruitment process.
Recruitment processes are evolving, and the pace of change means that it has never been more important for applicants to stay in touch and, better still, a step ahead of what to expect as they embark on their new job journey.
Join Jo Deal (BA Industrial Economics), Chief People Officer at Smartsheet in San Francisco, and learn about making the most of your interview opportunities, using AI to improve your performance (from CV writing through to rehearsing your presentation), and the importance of demonstrating your values and behaviours to prospective employers.
Jo will be joined by her colleague, Lauren Paup, Global Early Career Programme Manager at Smartsheet. Jo and Lauren will delve into the world of recruitment and share their insights and tips as an employers and human resources career professionals to help you prepare for the next time you’re applying for a role.
Make sure you're opted in to receive our emails
During the registration process for your graduation ceremony you will be asked whether you wish to receive emails from the university after you have completed your studies. Choose 'yes' to opt in, otherwise you will miss out on fully benefitting from your alumni programme!
Connect with us on social media
We post event invites, news updates and a whole host more on our social media channels – if you don't follow us already, then make sure you stay connected!
Graduate Outcomes – help maintain your university's reputation
One of the simplest and most valuable actions you will be asked to take as a Nottingham graduate is responding to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) Graduate Outcomes survey. You will be contacted by email, text or phone call 15 months after your graduation, inviting you to fill in a short survey about your university experience and subsequent career path, which will take less than 10 minutes of your time.
Sharing perspectives on your time at Nottingham helps us continually improve our offer for the students that will follow in your footsteps and maintain our standing as a Russell Group university.
In the meantime, it's why it's a great idea to make use of the university's Careers and Employability Service, to give you the best possible start to your post-university life!
