Discover your future

Alongside your knowledge of the classical world, you'll also develop skills which are essential for a wide range of careers.

  • Analyse multiple sources of information – develop all round perspectives for problems and solutions
  • Understand change – how cultures develop, interact and cope with change
  • Confidence – learn to present and communicate through seminars and group work

The main skills I've gained so far are a lot of critical analysis and research skills, which I know are going to be so useful for whatever I go into when I graduate. My confidence in my own research and writing has really improved as well. To do well, you have to have your own opinion on the evidence you’ve looked at.
