Screen industries project shortlisted for prestigious award

We’ve been shortlisted for a prestigious Guardian University Award 2017 in the International projects category.

The project involved advanced training designed to help address China’s skills shortage in its contemporary screen industries.

Led by the Institute for Screen Industries Research, in collaboration with the Asia Business Centre, it delivered a programme of continuing professional education and development in Ningbo and Beijing to over twenty delegates from leading Chinese higher education institutions.

Expertise from our Nottingham, Ningbo (China) and Malaysia academics was supported by a range of other partners, such as Live Tone (Seoul) and the British Embassy in Beijing.
