On 6 December, Asia Research Institute Director, Professor Katharine Adeney met with Professor E Aminudin Aziz, the Education and Culture Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy along with Dr Jacqueline Hicks (School of Politics and International Relations), Dr Bagus Muljadi (Engineering) and Leni Suek (CLAS).

They discussed future cooperation between the University of Nottingham and Indonesia, including the recently established Indonesian Doctoral Training Partnership (IDTP) and the involvement of the Institute in an Indonesian Festival at the University in 2019.
