The University of Nottingham was one of the four universities selected from the British Council to host 10 visitors from Japanese universities and a representative from the Japan Association of National Universities (equivalent of Universities UK). The purpose of the trip was to help connect research opportunities between UoN and Japan. Five Asia Research Institute fellows presented at the event; Katharine Adeney, Jeremy Taylor, Stephen Timmons, Hongwei Bao and Chun-Yi Lee.
