Join us for this masterclass on Navigating Continuous Supply Chain Disruptions: A Trilogy of Resilience, Digitalisation, and Ethics and build a comprehensive understanding of how these three concepts collectively deliver protection against or recovery from disruption.

Due to current climate conditions and geopolitical strategies, almost every type of supply chain (local or international) goes through an endless series of disruptions. This masterclass will cover a resilience framework and digital transformation impact framework and explain how ethics fit in all these to survive. By the end of the masterclass, you will understand how these three capabilities are linked with each other and collectively deliver stronger protection against or recovery from disruptions. We will also discuss why the current context of disruptions and resilience is different from our historical understanding. This contextual shift warrants moving our focus from Black Swan events (and unknown-unknown) to Grey Rhino events (and known-unknown).

Participants attending this masterclass will benefit from a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate continuous supply chain disruptions by building resilience, leveraging digital transformation, and integrating ethical considerations into their operations. The masterclass will help you to develop strategic capabilities and tools across the supply chain, which integrate sustainability and digitalisation in the resilience framework to provide holistic development. You will learn practical frameworks to enhance supply chain visibility, mitigate risks, and align operations with sustainable practices. You will also develop a contextual awareness of the shifting resilience mindset from "Black Swan" events to "Grey Rhino" risks, enabling better preparedness.

Masterclass objectives

  • Understand the interplay between resilience, digitalisation, and ethics
  • Apply resilience and digital transformation frameworks in practice
  • Recognise the shift from Black Swan to Grey Rhino events and continuous disruptions
