MBA students recently visited local restaurant Spice Cay to taste the amazing authentic Caribbean tapas food and hear from owner and entrepreneur Clinton Walker. Students enjoyed a Fireside talk with Clinton, interviewed by Dr Amrit Judge, Director of Full-Time MBA Programme (UK) and MBA Company-Based Projects Coordinator. The talk was part of the Personal Professional Development Programme, which students take alongside their modules on the MBA course.

Clinton shared his entrepreneurial journey, from cyber security to the food industry. He emphasised the importance of perseverance, support, and mentorship in achieving success.

Offering key advice on starting a business, Clinton said:

“Follow your heart and your head, not everyone is going to see your idea the way you see it and the journey and that path that you’re going on.”
