Nottingham University Business School recognised at The Lord Dearing Awards 2023
Haydn Green Institute team with their Team Dearing Award
Staff at the Nottingham University Business School have been recognised for their contribution to high quality teaching, the support of learning, and the student experience at the Lord Dearing Awards 2023.
The Haydn Green Institute (HGI) was also one of eight teams to be recognised with a Team Award.
Since 1999 the Lord Dearing Award Scheme has, celebrated the world-class contribution made by university staff to creating a nurturing, creative and innovative learning environment.
The Awards are held annually with nominations from staff and students. Awards are made to individuals, teams and a school or department based on demonstrating impact on student learning, outcomes, and experience.
The scheme was supported personally by Lord Ronald Dearing, the fifth Chancellor of the University of Nottingham, and, in the time it’s been running, has seen more than 200 individual members of staff and over 50 teams receive an award.
"It’s fantastic for the team to be recognised by the Lord Dearing Award Scheme,” said Dr Hannah Noke, Deputy Director of the Haydn Green Institute. “For over 22 years, the Haydn Green Institute has developed both exceptional entrepreneurial education for our students and wide-reaching community engagement programmes. This award highlights the contribution HGI is making to the University of Nottingham and to the Business School.”
Congratulations to individual staff members from Nottingham University Business School who received a Dearing Award, recognising their contribution to enhancing the student learning experience.
