Dr Michelle Stirk has significant teaching experience across a number of accounting areas, and is
committed to facilitating an engaging learning environment for her students. Within her
research Michelle is particularly interested in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. As a
chartered management accountant, Michelle's professional background is in management accounting
and she held a number of management accountant posts in both the public and private sectors before
embarking on her career in academia.
