Before joining University of Nottingham Business School, Dr. Samuel Dallyn has previously worked at Swansea School of Management, University of Swansea; Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester; the University of Leicester Business School; and Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University.

Dr. Samuel Dallyn's research interests are centred around the politics of organisational life with a particular focus on the differences and interrelations between organisational discourses and practices. He has researched and published in leading journals and public outlets on the organisation and strategies of a wide range of civil society organisations, in fields such as tax justice and alternative currency movements. His present research is focused on sustainability, management pedagogy, and the development of alternative, more ecological, organisations and markets in food consumption and production.
