David Dent MBE, MBA, CMgr, CCMI, FIoD is a seasoned business leader with extensive expertise in sales, marketing, and business development. He currently serves as the Vice President of Integrated Solutions Strategy at Parexel, where he leads a global team of strategists in clinical research and biotech. David is also a Diversity Champion and actively contributes to his company’s DEI committee. His career spans various industries, including clinical research, biotech, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare and being an Officer in the British Army. Additionally, David holds in addition to this Honorary Professor appointment is also an honorary professor at the University of Stirling and serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence and Global Scot, mentoring the next generation of business leaders. He is a Companion and Chartered Manager at the Chartered Management Institute and Fellow at the Institute of Directors. He is also a dedicated volunteer and trustee and Government advisor for several organizations supporting veterans and people with disabilities as well as an active sportsperson in Para sports, holding a world record in the Shot Put at the International Highland Games. He received his MBE from Her Majesty the Queen in the New Year’s Honors List in 2022 for services to Veterans Student and People with Disability.
