Rohit Satpathy
Originally from India, Rohit Satpathy studied for a Master’s in Computer Science and graduated with a distinction in 2019.
Whilst studying, Rohit had built up a successful YouTube channel, sharing his thoughts on the cybersecurity industry and testing online security solutions. After graduating he wanted to expand on the philosophy behind the channel and start his own cybersecurity business in the UK, so he sought help from the Ingenuity Lab to successfully apply for a Start-up visa.
As well as continuing to grow the Youtube channel – which now stands at over 160,000 subscribers – Rohit provides businesses with comprehensive cybersecurity testing, ensuring they are fully equipped to protect themselves and their clients’ information from malware attacks. The PC Security Channel was listed as the fifth most recognised security testing lab in Europe in the AV Comparatives IT Security Survey 2020.
The insight from the Ingenuity Lab and its associated events helped me formulate ideas for a long term business plan. The visa process was quite simple and the Lab was very supportive. The online surgeries by the Ingenuity Lab have definitely been helpful in keeping focused.
