Nottingham University Business School Malaysia and UN Global Compact Malaysia are delighted to host a webinar on how Malaysian organisations can leverage the rise of impact capital globally featuring guest speaker Tim Gocher who is Founder and CEO of Dolma Impact Fund and Honorary Professor of Sustainability at NUBS Malaysia.
Before COVID-19, impact investment was a growing force in the investment landscape. Now the entire investment landscape is scrambling to find the way forward. In the session, Tim will discuss the spectrum of impact investment and the types and drivers of impact capital. He will discuss the landscape before COVID-19, and some of the strategies that companies can deploy in response to COVID-19. He will bring examples from his experience managing Dolma Impact Fund, international private equity and infrastructure capital from European institutional investors and family offices, and provide suggestions for how to position your company for impact and impact capital.
Tim Gocher is a private equity executive with a background in renewable energy and technology. Before Dolma Impact Fund, Tim worked at Deloitte Corporate Finance in London, J.P. Morgan in New York and energy giant E.ON. As an entrepreneur, he has started and sold two successful technology businesses. Tim is Honorary Professor of Sustainable Business at Nottingham University Business School (NUBS), University of Nottingham Malaysia and a Guest Lecturer at London Business School where he gained his MBA.
