Nottingham MBA ranks in The Economist global top 100
Global top 100
In the latest international league table of full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes, Nottingham University Business School is ranked among the world’s top 100.
In The Economist’s 2017 full-time MBA ranking, the School is placed 84 globally against tough competition from North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Only 17 UK business schools appear in The Economist ranking this year and Nottingham outperformed several, as well as ranking above a number of leading international schools.
A student-centric MBA ranking
Nottingham’s students rated the gender diversity of the MBA student body highly while also awarding high scores to the internationalism of the alumni network and the quality of faculty.
The Economist ranks the world’s top 100 business schools based on two surveys: the composition and quality of MBA students, faculty and programme; plus alumni and current participants’ evaluation of their experience on the MBA.
The Economist ranking is distinctive for being the most "student-centric" of all the MBA rankings because it claims to measure the way business schools meet the demands that students have of an MBA programme.
Professor Jim Devlin, Dean of Nottingham University Business School, said:
“This ranking surveys our full-time MBAs while they are at the Business School, so it is gratifying to see the benefits of our ongoing focus on the quality of our MBA programme, which is already endorsed by our AMBA and EQUIS accreditations.”
Nottingham’s performance reflects its commitment to providing outstanding programmes for students worldwide and endorses its reputation as one of the leading players in global business education.
