The multi-award winning Brompton sets the standard for folding bicycles
Public lecture from Andrew Ritchie, inventor of the Brompton folding bicycle
Andrew Ritchie’s lecture launches a programme of events to mark the 125th anniversary of Raleigh Bicycles in Nottingham. The Jubilee campus of the University of Nottingham, where the lecture will take place, was formerly the site of the Raleigh factory, and continues to be a hub for innovation in the city. A season of community focused events will mark the anniversary.
Andrew will be giving a public lecture on ‘Brompton Bicycles: the story so far’. Andrew has recently stepped down as Managing Director of Brompton Bicycles, but he still has a hands-on role as Technical Director, and his innovative approach to design and in creating a company is an inspiration to other entrepreneurs.
