Digital Transformations: Some Historical Perspectives
A lecture by Professor Andrew Prescott

Please join us for the launch of the CAS Digital Humanities Seminar Series. We are extremely fortunate to be able to start our programme with a visit from Professor Andrew Prescott.

Professor Prescott is currently the Head of the Department of Digital Humanities at King’s College London, as well as being the Leadership Fellow for the AHRC’s Digital Transformations theme and Chair of the Network of Expert Centres (a federation of digital humanities centres). Previously, he was a Curator in the Department of Manuscripts at the British Library, directed the Centre for Research into Freemasonry at the University of Sheffield’s Humanities Research Institute, and directed the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII) at the University of Glasgow.

We hope that you will join us for this challenging and insightful talk, to be followed by tea and cakes in the CAS Cloisters.
