Making the Headlines

A workshop on publicising your expertise and how to make the media work for you.
Guest speaker: Dr Caroline Ogilvie, Head of the BBC/Open University Partnership and an expert in broadcast commissioning.
Other speakers include Dr Christina Lee, Dr Jon Henderson and Dr Nick Baragwanath all of whom have experience of media engagement. There will also be short presentations from Tim Utton, Deputy Director of Communications and other members of the Press Office.
The event begins at 12.30 with a buffet lunch and will finish at around 4pm with tours of the media hub for those who can spare the time.
Places are limited to 50 and academics in the Faculty of Arts are being given priority in booking on this occasion.
