Religious observance
Religious observance and exams
The University of Nottingham respects the rights and religious views of its students.
If you need to make the University aware of potential impact on your study due to religious observance, you should follow the University's protocol relating to absence from an examination for reason of religious observance.
Please note the religious observance form will remain on record for the remainder of your current programme of study. It is therefore advisable to submit the form as soon as you begin your studies.
Extenuating circumstances
If you would like to discuss any extenuating circumstance requests with a chaplain please contact us as soon as possible before your assessment or exam deadline bearing in mind the timescales as set out in the University's extenuating circumstances procedure.
