The annual School of Chemistry careers evening took place on Thursday October 16th, featuring five excellent talks from School of Chemistry alumni and was attended by 130 students.
This year the five speakers were:
Rosalind Onions International Development Executive, Royal Society of Chemistry
Rich Bertram Technology Manager Enabling Research, Infineum UK Ltd.
Phil Humphreys Investigator, GlaxoSmithKline Medicines Research Centre
Ben Ward Teacher of Science, Sewell Park College, Norwich
James Stevens Senior Scientist, Johnson Matthey Technology Centre
We thank all of the speakers for volunteering their time and giving inspiring talks. The event included pizza and drinks before the talks and a drinks reception afterwards where our undergraduates were able to chat informally with the speakers.
