City as Lab is based at the University of Nottingham Castle Meadow Campus, Castle Meadow Road, Nottingham, NG2 1AB (W3W: ///salon.drums.vouch)

 

• On arrival, please sign-in at the Security reception on arrival at CMC.  This can be found inside the main entrance to Building C.   If you are University of Nottingham staff, please show your ID card.

• City as Lab is located within Building C, on the first corridor to the right on entering the building.

• Guest Wi-Fi is available on campus.  Please use this link to register an account for guest Wi-Fi

• There is a secure cycle store to the front of Building C. Security will be able to provide access.

• Construction works have now commenced on campus.  Please take care when moving around the site and ensure that you use the designated pedestrian walkways and crossings, paying attention to any local signage.

Parking Arrangements at Castle Meadow Campus

University of Nottingham parking restrictions apply on campus;  further information can be found here.  Staff and visitor parking is only permitted in the bays that begin with UON# that run alongside the buildings and must display a University of Nottingham valid parking permit or pay and display notice. 

 

 

 

Alternative Parking Locations:

Parking at Castle Meadow Campus is limited due to the City Centre location.

• The closest car park is Nottingham Maid Marian Way Car Park (NCP): Arndale Centre, Maid Marian Way, Nottingham, NG1 6AE (412 spaces) and the new Broad Marsh Car Park (NCC) Collin Street, Nottingham, NG1 7EL is 5-minute walk from CMC with 1200 spaces including 81 EV charging points.

• On Street Parking (Zone 2) is available on Castle Boulevard / Haslam Street; Pay using RingGo or by card at the pay and display machines

• Or avoid the city centre traffic by parking at one of Nottingham’s Park & Ride sites and catching the bus or tram to the City Centre.  The 49 bus from Queen’s Drive Park & Ride stops on Queen’s Drive, near Castle Meadow Campus (CMC). 


Alternative Transport to Castle Meadow Campus:

 

• Journeys to Castle Meadow Campus on public transport can be planned using the Nottingham City Transport Journey Planner.

• The Nottingham tram network connects CMC to destinations to the north (Bulwell and Hucknall), east (University Park, Beeston and Toton), and south (Wilford and Clifton).  Nottingham Railway Station is the closest tram stop to CMC. 

• CMC is only a five-minute walk  from Nottingham Railway Station, with rail links across the UK.
