Triangle

A group of students worked on a Carrington Street Townscape Heritage project with external lead professionals to bring together technology and creativity by looking at the past, present and future of the street. Students surveyed the facades of Carrington Street, photographed them and analysed them, and they looked at the history of the place to find inspiration for a series of outcomes:

  1. A musical piece that they will compose based on the architectural features of the facades.

  2. A literacy piece in the form of a poem or prose.

  3. A design for a building that follows the ‘Carrington St’ trend and that fits in with the context. Students will draw this in a 3D modelling software and possibly, they will produce a 3D printing of their design.

  4. A piece of art (image or sculpture).

  5. Videography of the project.

Students conducted their research, developed their ideas and showcased the outcomes of their project at the Urban Room, in a dedicated event. A video of the project itself was displayed at the Urban Room during the event.
