Event details

This free event will celebrate the Animating Leicestershire Towns Project that recently delivered a number of arts projects across Leicestershire. The event will bring together organisations and people who collectively have a passion for supporting a culture of creativity across Leicestershire.

Local artists and creative practitioners are invited to attend this free event and have the opportunity to hear from experts and creative professionals who will share their knowledge and expertise on creative and cultural projects and future opportunities.

The event will take place at the Carnegie Museum in Melton with a walk and tour of the Kick Up The Arts space from 2.45 to 4pm.

In addition to hearing about how they can navigate and develop their own creative and cultural future effectively, attendees will:

  • gain knowledge of, and insight into, creative and cultural projects;
  • learn more about future opportunities for growth; and
  • network with professionals and other local creatives in the community.

Lunch will be provided. There will be refreshments available throughout the event.

There is some off-road parking and parking bays outside the Carnegie museum. The nearest carparks are located on Chapel Street or Burton Street. Both car parks are a 5-minute walk to/from the museum. Walking to the Kick Up The Arts venue for the tour will also be a 5-minute walk from the museum.
