Centre for Research into Ideas and the Study of Political Ideologies

Grant success for CRISPI members

CRISPI director Hugo Drochon and centre members Maiken Umbach (History) and Annemarie Walter have been successful in securing a University of Nottingham ESRC Impact Accelerator Account to work on the links between antisemitism and conspiracy theories.

The project will run from February to August 2022 and is titled 'Unholy Alliance? Testing the link between antisemitism and conspiracy theories to develop an enhanced education programme with the National Holocaust Centre'. The project team will ask the question  'is teaching the Holocaust sufficient to combat antisemitism?' and aim to bring together two strands of research, crossing the divide between Arts and Social Sciences. Doctoral Researcher Nora Leach will be joining the project as a Knowledge Exchange Fellow.

Congratulations Hugo, Maiken and Annemarie!
