CSPI would like to announce an exciting opportunity to discuss the relationship between academic work and political practice.
On Tuesday 21 November, Nerris Markogiannis will speak about his work "10 Years as a United Nations Photographer", share some of his images and the stories behind these images, and discuss the ethical challenges, historical conditioning, and political effects of photography of vulnerable people in conflict and post-conflict situations in relation to the work of UN missions.
The event is co-hosted by CSPI and the Usable Pasts strand of the Global Rights Beacon. Everyone, including students, very welcome!
We hope to see you there.
