New and upcoming publications

We are pleased to announce the publication of Dr Gallou’s new monograph Death in Mycenaean Laconia. A Private Place (2020), available from Oxbow Books.

In December 2019 Jemma Press launched the Greek edition of Kieron Gillen’s graphic novel Three, for which Professor Emeritus Stephen Hodkinson provided historical consultancy. The Greek edition of Three was published by Jemma Press in late 2019 with partial sponsorship from the Centre for Spartan & Peloponnesian Studies.

We are currently finalising the editing of two conference proceedings that are scheduled to appear by the end of this year: Sacred Landscapes in the Peloponnese, from prehistory to pre-modern and Luxury and Wealth in Archaic to Hellenistic Peloponnese.

Sarantos Minopetros’ family book Life Code: Lydia for which Dr Gallou has provided archaeological consultancy is due to appear by June 2020.
