The 906 evening hopper bus service connecting University Park and Jubilee campuses with Beeston and Lenton is returning for the 2024/25 academic year.

The service provides transport to accommodation in Lenton and Beeston from key campus locations, including libraries, after late night study sessions. As with all university hopper buses, this is a free service.

Timetables and dates of operation

The service will run Monday - Saturday during term time. There will be two timetables, autumn/spring and summer, allowing the bus to run later in the summer:

• 23 September - 13 December 2024 (autumn and spring timetable)
• 13 January - 28 March 2025 (autumn and spring timetable)
• 28 April - 20 June 2025 (summer timetable)

The bus will not run on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Route map

The new 906 route will leave Jubilee Campus and travel up Derby Road before turning around in Nottingham City Centre (at Canning Circus) and returning to campus via Ilkeston Road. This will make it easier for those living at either side of Lenton.

Bus stops include:

• University Park: George Green Library, Library Road (for Hallward Library), Conference Centre, Hillside and West Entrance
• Jubilee Campus: Innovation Park, Newark Hall, The Exchange (for Djanogly LRC)
• Derby Road (Lenton): Faraday Road, Savoy Cinema, Canning Circus
• Ilkeston Road (Lenton): Rothesay Avenue, Faraday Road
• Beeston: Salthouse Lane, Humber Road and Jessamine Court (for Humber Road)
