The Excel in Science Internship Programme (2023-2024) call for interns is now open, and all students are encouraged to apply.
The programme is designed to give budding researchers the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience and is open to students from all disciplines. We are committed to the highest standards of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, which are essential to a thriving and ambitious Research Culture.
Successful candidates will receive a stipend for 10 hours per week throughout the 23/24 academic year. This works out at approximately 30 weeks and will be paid at national living wage.
Applicants are committing they will be able to spend at least 10 hours a week working within the research group and/or under their supervisor’s supervision.
Shortlisted applications will be matched to projects and supervisors and interviews will take place the week commencing Monday 26 June via MS Teams.
