Updated on 26 July at 17.00: Due to technical issues, this work has been paused and rescheduled for a later date. The system has been rolled back to its pre-upgraded state for the time being with no changes to the layout. We apologise for any inconvenience and will update in due course.

The upgrade will take place on Wednesday 26 July 8am-6pm and will introduce a new look and layout for menus and buttons, improving usability. Please note that Moodle will be completely unavailable during this time.

The updates will not have any impact on the content of Moodle or the way that you use it – you’ll just notice that things will look a bit different, and some menus and buttons might not be where you used to see them.
