Description

This session is organised by the Careers and Employability Service

In this workshop, Alison Peyton, Vantage Marketing Manager, will be talking about applying to law firms and how all of your work experience is relevant on applications. She will look at the key skills you can bring out of your experiences, and how you can show you’ve developed commercial awareness.

Alison is a former Graduate Recruitment Manager from a large global law firm and is very experienced in advising students on how to navigate the application process.

She now works for Vantage, a free online portal that connects students with some the top legal employers in the country. Vantage allows these firms and chambers to headhunt specific students to offer them a number of unique and relevant opportunities, from first year insight days and events to vacation scheme, pupillage and training contract opportunities.

This session is aimed at UoN students and graduates.
