Description

Why is outreach in STEM so important?

This event is part of the Inspiring Women in STEM event programme.

Join the Careers and Employability Service on Thursday 11 March to find out more as current PhD students discuss the need to promote STEM to the next generation.

We’ll be looking at the range of opportunities available, how you can get involved while you’re at University and the amazing rewards outreach work can bring.

Furthermore, this session will go on to explore the importance of role models in STEM, how to find your role model and how we can be role models for each other!

We would like to make it clear that we welcome students and graduates from all genders and STEM disciplines to attend this event!
