Researchers from the school's newest research centre, Nottingham Interdisciplinary Centre for Economic and Political Research (NICEP) have joined colleagues at nine other UK universities to form a new network, the Political Economy UK Group (POLECONUK).
The network has over 70 members drawn from Bath, Bristol, Essex, Kings, Lancaster, Nottingham, the London School of Economics, Queen Mary's, and Warwick.
The Political Economy UK Group is a network of institutions, economists and political scientists working in political economy. Membership currently stands at over 70 researchers. The group's objective is to disseminate and share research in political economy conducted in the United Kingdom. The first annual POLECONUK conference is being hosted by the London School of Economics in May. NICEP's own annual conference will be held at Nottingham in June.
