The School of Economics has created a new Hall of Fame display showcasing the achievements of some of its former students.
The pictures, on display in the Sir Clive Granger Building, feature alumni ranging from recent graduates to those who studied at the school during the 1950s and 60s. The graduates have had success in a wide range of fields, including banking, sport, media, politics, accountancy and international development, as well as being the recipients of numerous awards and prizes.
Outgoing Head of School, Professor Kevin Lee, said: "We wanted to find a way to celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our former students. It has been really interesting learning about the diversity of careers that our graduates have pursued, and we hope that this inspires our current students when considering the many opportunities available to them after they finish their studies."
The display will be a permanent fixture in the school and there are plans to add more profiles in the future. The school would like to thank all the alumni that agreed to take part and share their stories.
