Former School of Economics student awarded Alumni Laureate Recent Graduate Award

School of Economics alumnus, Kike Oniwinde, has been awarded the Alumni Laureate Recent Graduate Award at the winter graduation ceremony on 11 December 2019. Kike graduated with a BSc Economics in 2014 before gaining a track and field scholarship to the University of Florida. Here she completed her MSc Management degree alongside competing in the javelin.

Kike is recognised for her achievements in founding BYP Network, a networking community for black young professionals to address a lack of diversity in the workplace. She has won a host of other accolades for her work and was featured in a recent edition of the University's Connect magazine.
