Biography

I am a first-year PhD student in Economics at the University of Nottingham.

Previously, I completed an Msc in International Economics and MRes in Economics in the University of Nottingham.

I received the School of Economics of University of Nottingham scholarship.

Expertise Summary

I have worked in the Ministry of Foreign Trade in Peru as a Economist and in the Ministry of Industry in the office of Impact Evaluation.

Likewise, I participated in various consultancy projects on productive development and international trade across different countries in Latin America, such as the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Peru.

Research Summary

My research topics are international trade, trade policy and industry development.

In my current research project title "Labor cost and export dynamics in a developing economy", I am exploring the impact of an increase of minimum wage on export margins at firm level in Peru, under the supervision of Facundo Albornoz and Alejandro Graziano.

I am affiliated to the Nottingham Center for Research on Globalization and Economic Policy (GEP).
