ESRC DTP PhD Student in Economics,
First year Ph.D. student focussing on research within international macroeconomics and finance. Completed my BSc (Hons) in Economics and International Economics and MSc in Economics and International Economics from the University of Nottingham in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MPhil in Economic Research in 2019. Worked for two years as a government Economist. Speak Dutch and English fluently. Enjoy various sports but most of all swimming, football and cricket.
Title: Fiscal Policy and Growth
Summary: Specifically, looking at fiscal policy and growth within a secularly stagnated environment. The idea is to investigate whether tackling issues of inequality can help alleviate issues of secular growth when monetary policy is constrained.
