Description

This is a Learning Sciences Research Institute Seminar

Presented by Professor Phil Newton, Director of Learning and Teaching, Swansea University Medical School

Recent media attention and guidance from the UK Quality Assurance Agency has highlighted the problem of Contract Cheating in Higher Education. In 2016 the Australian Department of Education and Training commissioned a two-year Strategic Priority Project led by the University of South Australia to investigate the problem of contract cheating and the role of assessment design. The project collected the largest dataset to date on this topic and has developed evidence-based resources to assist the sector in addressing this threat to academic integrity. This workshop will share findings and resources from the project

The talk will finish at 5pm, and will then be followed by a question period.
