Becoming a History Teacher

Come and meet Vic Crooks, Admissions Tutor for the secondary PGCE history course. Vic will discuss how to apply for teacher training and start yourself on the path to developing exciting historical enquiry led learning through which children encounter history in meaningful and engaging ways that make a difference to their understanding of the world.

This lunch-time session will explain the different routes into teaching history at secondary level offered by The University of Nottingham, the course structure, content and the support you will recieve whilst training and as an Early Careers Teacher (ECT).
