Conference theme: The politics and purposes of educational research
The School of Education warmly welcomes interested doctoral researchers, academics, and practitioners to the annual PGR conference for an opportunity to network and engage with key issues and developments in research on education theory, policy, and practice.
This year’s conference theme is The Politics and Purposes of Education Research and includes a keynote presentation from Professor Melanie Walker (National Research Foundation, South Africa), a poster exhibition and paper presentations.
The theme situates academic conversations within the 'political, ecological, social, and cultural' moment we find ourselves in, locally and globally.
Come along to share your work, support fellow researchers, and learn more about how current research taking place in the School of Education contributes to wider society.
This event will take place over two days on the Jubilee Campus, Nottingham and timings are as follows:
· Tuesday 16 May 2023 – 9.00am to 4.00pm - Room C45 Dearing Building, Jubilee Campus
· Wednesday 17 May 2023 – 9.00am to 4.00pm - Room C33 Exchange Building, Jubilee Campus
Everyone is welcome regardless of research stages, expertise, and interests.
