This seminar will delve into how participatory visual and arts-based approaches can address critical social issues while fostering significant community engagement. This seminar will demonstrate the power of the arts as a tool for social change and community engagement, positioning the participatory arts as a critical component in educational and societal development.
This is a hybrid event and it is possible to attend in-person or online (using Microsoft Teams). On registering you will be asked if you want to attend in-person or online. Everyone who registers will receive the link to join online by email.
In-person attendees: C42 Dearing Building, Jubilee Campus. Light lunch will be from 12:30-1pm, followed by the seminar at 1pm.
Online attendees: Please join us on Microsoft Teams starting at 1pm.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided as part of this event. Please note that all that our food is prepared in kitchens that contain gluten, nuts and other allergens. We cannot completely guarantee that there is no risk of cross contamination. Please ensure you have notified the event organisers of any specific dietary requirements in advance of the event. To support our commitment to sustainability, we do not order bottled water for events. Instead, we ask that attendees bring a refillable cup and use the water stations located around the Dearing Building.
