The Sustainability and Transformational Education Research Cluster (STERC) at the School of Education, University of Nottingham Malaysia will host the Malaysia Office of the UNESCO Chair in International Education and Development.
The official announcement will be made on 19 April 2023 during the launch of the STERC Sustainability and Transformational Education seminar series, which aims to bring greater awareness to the campus community on how everyone can come together to advocate for sustainable futures via and beyond education. It is also intended to spark interdisciplinary conversations and collaborations in support of the Education for Sustainable Development for 2030 initiative and the global goals.
The series ran its first seminar in March 2023 with speakers from UNICEF Malaysia. The next seminar will take place on 12 April with speakers from WWF Malaysia and the Global Environment Centre.
