Dr Cath Gripton speaks at conferences

Dr Cath Gripton was a speaker at the national Foundation Years Live event on 29 November 2023. 

This event featured updates from the Department for Education, including information on the upcoming changes to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and an overview of the findings from the Evaluation of the EYFS 2021 Reforms report.

Dr Gripton spoke about the new mathematics module in the DfE's online Child Development Training which she co-authored with other DfE maths subject matter experts.

Earlier in November, Dr Gripton was also a guest speaker at the British Society for Research into Learning Mathematics where she presented 'Using the Counting Collections approach with preschool children: emerging findings from a research project'  Please visit the Counting Collections website for more information on this project.
